Patience

I wish I could say that starting this blog has made things easier.  It was much harder to sit myself down and write again.  I found this beautiful song -Nuvole Bianche- from a true and wonderful friend that seems to be able to inspire me constantly.  Music was one of the things that Breanna loved.  You could see the spark light up in her dark brown eyes that Rex lovingly called 'doe' eyes.  Her eyes told you everything.  The nurses would constantly comment on how they hated doing painful procedures on her.  They could see from her eyes that she 'knew' what was going on.  We never got to hear her voice, but I'm sure it would have been quite demanding and soft all at the same time.  Sometimes I'll hear a little infant girl cry or just babble and wonder why?  I know all the wonderful people out there will have great answers to that question which I assure you I already know.  It still doesn't change my mother instincts to just want her here in my arms again.  Patience. . .

    You are the most beautiful angel on this earth. And Breanna is the most beautiful angel in heaven. I am so blessed to have you in my life and to have had a chance to know Breanna. You're right about her eyes. You could see heaven, and know that we all existed before we came here. I think of her very often. I love you both. Thank you for being my friend. I am constantly grateful for you.

    Seven years. I can't believe it's been that long. I remember...and I hope I always remember. I will tell you that I am grateful to have been a witness to the ultimate love that two parents can ever share with a child. Breanna and you are blessed to have each other.
    I hope that all October 3rd's pass quietly and calmly for you as you secure those treasured memories deeper into your sweet hearts.

    The music is beautiful just like Breanna. I never got to meet her but you can tell by her pictures what an amazing little girl she is. I know she is looking down with love on you and the family. You are just an amazing person. I am so glad to call you my friend.
